Experimenting with line weight:


I wanted to experiment with the textures of the brushes within Clip Studio Art to create more dynamic movement and depth within my pictures.


I decided to stick with the water color brush which has a square tip which creates clean and straight edges due to the minimalist nature of the design.



Color palette:

Since the amount colors used are limited due to the process of screen printing, I decided to focus on three primary colors: a deep magenta, a light yellow, and a dark aquamarine blue. Using the three varied tones (yellow for highlights, magenta for neutral shades, and blue for shadows), I was able to create clear depth within the piece.
